Kangaroo Island can be reached from mainland South Australia by ferry or by air and the Lodge is a mere 1 kilometre from the ferry landing. Sealink provides an efficient ferry service which allows you to bring your vehicle to the island with you. The ferry leaves Cape Jervis (a short drive south of Adelaide, South Australia's capital city) and travels straight across Backstairs Passage on its 16 kilometer journey.
